MILWAUKEE – Jackson Hughes has been named this week's Raider of the Week after the freshman took 2nd place at the MSOE Invite on Saturday.

Hughes, a West Salem, Wisconsin native, got off to a hot start on Saturday, scoring a victory via fall in less than a minute in his opening round matchup, followed up by a 6-1 decision victory in the quarterfinals.  Hughes would score another win via fall in his semifinal bout, beating TJ Mackey of CUW in 4:33 to secure his spot in the championship match.  Hughes racked up a team-high 17 points on Saturday as the Raiders posted one of the best finishes in team history, taking 3rd place with 91 points.

Hughes and the Raiders are back in action on Saturday, December 14th, when they head to Lincoln Nebraska for the Prairie Wolf Duals hosted by Nebraska Weselyan University.  The action is set to begin at 10:00AM.
