DAVENPORT, Fla. – The MSOE baseball team played the long ball earlier as they never trailed Bethel University to keep things rolling down in the Sunshine State.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Blake Hall and Sam Meidenbauer weren't afraid to see how far the balls would travel in the top of the first, each blasting home runs to give MSOE (4-3, 0-0 NACC) a quick 3-0 lead. Chris Barnes got the start on the bump for the Raiders and kept things clean on the scoreboard until the fourt inning when Bethel (5-6, 0-0 MIAC) added a run in each the fourth and fifth inning to the cut their deficit down 3-2.
- Meidenbauer added another run on a sacrifice fly to bring in Hall that was answered in the bottom half of the inning by the Royals as they game went 4-3 two-thirds through. Hall in the top seventh extended the lead even further to bring Brandon Beauchamp and Kyle Labedz and in the next inning, the Raiders put the Royals away as they took a 9-3 lead to end it.

th, going up against UMass-Dartmouth at 12:30 PM ET and Ohio Northern at 4:00 PM ET in Davenport.
