WAUKESHA, Wis. – The MSOE men's volleyball had a near easy sweep on University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point but ultimately fell short in a neutral site battle.

MSOE RAIDERS – 2
Wisconsin-Stevens Point - 3
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Each side essentially traded serves before MSOE (8-8, 4-2 NACC) made a 4-0 run that gave them the edge the rest of the first set, capped by a service ace from Seth Thomas to win 25-18. Wisconsin-Stevens Point (10-7, 0-0 D3 Independent) looked to even things up in set two, having a 18-16 lead late. Callan Harris sparked a 4-0 run to put them back in the lead and James Zippay with his turn of the service ace capped it off 25-23 to take a 2-0 lead.
- The Pointer finally found a consistent rhythm with a 21-14 lead thinking they could easily put it away. Harris had a one-man show in the final points having nearly five straight kills to put them back tied at 24 but couldn't finish it out to drop the third set 26-24. The Pointers had their way at the net in the fourth set with multiple blocks keep their momentum rolling to win 25-23 to force a fifth set. It continued to go south for the Raiders as the Pointers finished things off 15-12 to complete their comeback.
