HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Wisconsin-River Falls (3-2, 0-0 WIAC) didn't wasted anytime getting on the scoreboard, scoring within the first 10 seconds of the game. The Falcons continued to rack up the score heading into the second quarter before Lily Johnson broke up the scoring skid for her first goal of her career to go down 10-1. Anika Einbeck added her first goal of her career just seconds after the second quarter started as MSOE (0-3, 0-0 NACC) slowed down the Falcons as they trailed 13-2 at the half.
  • The Raiders kept things nearly even in the second half, splitting the draw controls 2-2 and short of clears 2-1 and ground balls 12-10. The Falcons continued to add to their lead the rest of the way to cruise past the Raiders 22-2.
