MILWAUKEE – The MSOE men's track & field team didn't have to go very far to pick up their second team win of the outdoor season, competing at the Marquette Invitational where they edged out NCAA Division I UW-Milwaukee and Division II UW-Parkside.

- Adam Shaw and AJ Springer continued to utilize a 1-2 punch in the 800-meter run. Shaw won the event in 1:57.54 with Springer on his heals in second in 1:57.82. Colby Branch after the past two weeks of winning the steeplechase moved up to the 5,000-meter run to win in 15:16.29 ahead of Tyler Ott in second in 15:26.15. Sam McPeak and Jackson Braun led the 3,000-meter steeplechase for the Raiders this week as McPeak finished in (9:54.91) and Braun in third (10:13.11), respectively.
- In the sprints, Jack Schwartz finished in the second in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:03.08, while Evan Ploeckelman finished in third in the 100-meter dash in 10.94. Both relays saw third-place finishes with the group of Schwartz, Sam Sorenson, Nate Bong, and Ploeckelman in the 4x100-meter (45.53) and Schwartz, Springer, Bong, and Shaw in the 4x400-meter (3:33.49).
- In the field events, Logan Marks continued to dominate the pole vault to win the event in 4.45 meters. Ethan Wrasman continued to lead throws department, winning the shot put with a toss of 13.74 meters. Spencer Davis finished in second in the hammer throw in 46.57 meters, while William Tate finished third in the discus in 39.36 meters.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Raiders will compete next weekend at Wisconsin-La Crosse in the Phil Esten Challenge. A group of 10,000-meter runnners will compete on Friday, April 19
th, with the rest of the Red & White to compete the following day.
