MILWAUKEE – The MSOE baseball team reunited with University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee for their annual Battle of Brew City matchup inside American Family Field, home of the Milwaukee Brewers. After the Raiders tied things up in the top of the fourth, the Panthers put up a five run bottom half to never look back.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Two quick sacrifice flys in the top of the first and a double in the third gave Milwaukee (8-25, 5-10 Horizon) a 3-0 lead. MSOE (17-9, 11-3 NACC) finally put runs on the scoreboard in the top of the fourth after two infield hits from Blake Hall and Sam Meidenbauer for Micah Overley to step in. A rip through the left side from both Overley and Chris Barnes brought both in to score before an error from the Panther on a hit from Collin Truitt tied the game at three.
- Things from there went south for the Raiders after the Panthers put up five runs in the bottom half of the inning to take an 8-3 lead. Hall soften their deficit in the sixth bringing Jack Kalitowski in to score but two two-run homeruns in the sixth acted as a final blow in the Raiders hope, despite Charlie Gannon singling up the middle in the ninth to bring Christian Bosque in. The Panthers continued to dominate this American Family Field series, winning 13-5.
