MILWAUKEE, Wis.– The MSOE men's lacrosse team faced off against the Scarlet Hawks of Illinois Tech on Saturday afternoon, the Raider's offense continued to struggle, as MSOE fell 11-3.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Raiders (6-8, 2-4 NACC) and Scarlet Hawks (8-5, 6-0 NACC) looked evenly matched to open the contest, as the Scarlet Hawks took a 2-0 lead, before the Raiders quickly answered back. Ethan Marasco scored unassisted to put the first Raider points on the board before Graden Jansen won a faceoff clean and cruised for the unassisted equalizer a mere seven seconds later. The tie would not last long as Illinois Tech scored with just over three minutes remaining in the first quarter to take a 3-2 lead. The Scarlet Hawks would shut the Raiders down the rest of the first half, as MSOE trailed 5-2 at the break.
- The Scarlet Hawks would score six unanswered goals in the second half, increasing their lead to 11-2. MSOE would score one more goal with four seconds left but finished with a -5 turnover differential. The Raiders dominated the Scarlet Hawks on faceoffs, winning 16-of-17, but ultimately were unable to find the back of the net consistently and fell 11-3.
