BELOIT, Wis. – Quick goals from Beloit College proved to be too much as the MSOE women's lacrosse team headed on the road Tuesday evening.
RESULT
MSOE RAIDERS – 2
Beloit - 13
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Beloit (4-8, 4-2 NACC) came out of the gates with three goals just past the five-minute mark of the game. A lull midway through the quarter was picked up by the Buccaneers with another three-goal run to finish out the quarter with a 6-0 lead.
- Lilly Johnson finally broke the shutout with a free position goal for MSOE (4-8, 2-3 NACC). Two more goals from the Buccaneers gave them a comfortable lead at the break, leading 8-1.
- The Buccaneers didn't slow down in the second half with five more goals to their total. Vayda Flower broke up their scoring in the middle of the third after Alana Perry forced a turnover but that was the final score the Raiders would put on the board.
