RIVER FOREST, Ill.– The MSOE men's lacrosse team took on the Cougars of Concordia University Chicago on Wednesday, as the Raiders put on a clinic in a 26-0 rout.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Raiders (5-4, 1-1 NACC) opened the game with a relentless pace on offense, as Soren Savard found the back on the net 30 seconds into the contest, the first of three MSOE goals in the opening five minutes. The Raiders put up 27 shots in the first frame, including Jake Oswin's first career goal, as the Raiders ended the first quarter up 5-0 on the Cougars (0-6, 0-2 NACC). The Raiders would continue to pour on the offense, as Savard locked up a hat trick at the 14:41 mark of the second quarter on his way to five goals. The Raiders defensive performance matched the offense, shutting out the Cougars in the first half as Paul Breuck racked up seven ground balls in the first half, while Carson Harris contributed two caused turnovers.
- The Raiders came out of the halftime break ahead 14-0, but never took their foot off the gas as they added six goals in each of the final quarters to run away with a 26-0 win. Dawson Smith led the Raiders with eight points, while 15 different Raiders recorded at least one point, including Sean Roberts and Sean Logan's first goals of the season. Graden Jansen racked up 10 ground balls while going a perfect 14-for-14 on faceoffs. The Raiders 26 goals is the most for the team since April 19th, 2022 at Beloit College.
