HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (0-1, 0-0 NACC) took the first points of the season before taking a 6-3 lead thanks to two service aces from Ava Larson. The Raiders continued to press on Wisconsin-Stout (2-0, 0-0 WIAC) with a 5-0 run for the 11-4 lead. The Blue Devils from then on dominated the set by taking a 10-0 run to take the lead and then pressed on by ending on an 8-1 run to win 25-15.
- The Blue Devils continued that run to begin the second set on a 9-4 run. The Raiders continued to close in on the Blue Devils but was just short, losing 25-21. The Raiders after a back and forth start to set three, put themselves ahead for the first time since midway through set one with a 6-0 run with three aces from Emma Schattschneider. Another 4-0 run later in the set continued to keep their momentum hot as they took the third set 25-13 to force a fourth.
- The Raiders continued to build up a massive lead 11-3 after multiple miscues from the Blue Devils. After it seemed like the Raiders were going to pull away to force a fifth set, the Blue Devils overpowered them with a commanding 11-1 run to seal it for them 25-22.
