#7 UW-La Crosse Eagles – 4
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Raiders (3-2-0) would open the contest with a flurry of offensive opportunities in front of the Eagles (5-0-0) goal, but both Jackie Keane and Claire Bradford were unable to convert amongst the chaos.
- After coming out of the halftime break trailing 1-0, the Raiders would surrender their second goal at the 54:20 mark of the second half, as La Crosse began to take control the time of possession and harass MSOE in transition. Grace Quinn would provide a massive spark for the Red and White, with a longshot goal from deep in the corner at the 62:48 mark to put MSOE on the board and bring the score to 2-1
- The Eagles would net their third goal of the game less than four minutes later (66:16) and after a fourth goal in favor of La Crosse, the door would close on any hope of a Raider comeback against their most talented opponent this season.
