MONTCLAIR, N.J. – The MSOE men's soccer traveled to New Jersey to test their skills against nationally recognized programs. After taking a first half lead, the Raiders came away with a draw with #12 Montclair State University Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The two squad traded shot opportunities with Tanner Cellio shooting wide left 12 minutes in. They continued to trade shots until a corner kick opportunity came in the 34th minute for MSOE (0-1-2, 0-0-0 NACC). After being ricochet out of the box, Michael Rohrman sailed one to the bottom left corner through the defense to give the Raiders a 1-0 lead, which held through the midway point of the match.
- Montclair State (0-2-1, 0-0-0 NJAC) came out of the games firing off shots left and right. It eventually paid off for the Red Hawks in the 62nd minute when a corner kick of their allowed them to tie up the game with 27 minutes remaining. Things however moved slowly for both sides all the clock ticked down with neither getting a real opportunity, forcing the two to finish in a draw.
