HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Raiders (7-6, 3-1 NACC) and Eagles (7-6, 3-1 NACC) exchanged baskets to open the game before MSOE went on a 15-2 run to close out the first quarter. Mahima Chokshi got off to a quick start, scoring nine points and dishing out three assists in the first ten minutes of play. The Red and White held the Eagles to two-for-seventeen from the field in the first frame, including one-for-nine from three-point range as they led 21-7. The Raiders would push their lead to 17 points going into the half, as they caught fire from beyond the arc with Halena Hill burying two threes as the Raiders shot 66.7% from deep in the second quarter.
- MSOE's lead would reach as much as 25 points in the second half, as they Raiders continued to frustrate Edgewood on both ends of the court, including a stretch that saw the Raiders hold the Eagles scoreless for the final four and a half minutes of the third quarter. Lana Kerley would finish with a 17-point, 12-rebound double-double as MSOE improved to 3-1 in conference, avenging their loss to Edgewood from earlier this season when the Eagles bested the Raiders 56-48 on December 7th in Madison, Wisconsin.
