FINAL SCORE
MSOE RAIDERS – 111
Concordia Chicago - 92
HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (10-5, 6-2 NACC) couldn't shake Concordia Chicago (5-9, 3-6 NACC) early on as each team shared the lead early on until a three from Donovan Carter started the run of the Raiders keeping the lead for the rest of the game. Shooting 60.7% in the first half, the Raiders went on a 13-2 run, highlighted by three-pointers from Carter and Brock Adams, going up 37-21 to put the Cougars in a massive deficit early. The long ball didn't stop there as another one from Mason Accidentale gave them their largest lead of the first half of 23 before they headed into the break leading 55-37.
- The Raiders didn't let the scoring let up as they shot 61% from the field in the second half. Carter and Mason Dopirak took turns nailing shots before Adams on a transition layup and nailing technical free-throws gave them their largest lead of the night 84-51 with 12 minutes remaining. Adams and Accidentale continued find the basket, each scoring double-digit points for the first time of their career, as the Raiders finished with ease.
