OSHKOSH, Wis. – In the program's first season as a part of the Midwest Conference, the MSOE women's swimming & diving team was voted sixth, receiving 28 points heading into the year.
Defending champion Grinnell College led the poll receiving eight first-place votes, ahead of St. Norbert College with one vote and Lake Forest College in third. Monmouth College was fourth and rounding out the top five was Beloit College.
The Raiders return multiple key contributors from last year's fifth-place team at the Liberal Arts Conference Championship, including junior
Ava Pike have multiple event wins last season in the 50-meter freestyle and 100-meter freestyle.
Jocelyn Katte is also a name to look for, leading the group in the breaststroke, having multiple top three finishes, along with a fifth-place finish at the conference meet last year.
The Raiders open their season on Saturday, October 4
th against Carroll University. The first event is set to start at 1:00 p.m.
