MILWAUKEE – Gabby Schmid has been named this week's Raider of the Week after leading the women's swimming & diving team at the Wisconsin Showcase this past weekend.

Schmid, a freshman from Sun Prairie, had the highest finish of the weekend and two top-three finishes, first finishing second in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:00.37 and then third place in the 200-yard butterfly in 2:19.11. She also had an eighth-place finish in the 100-yard backstroke, along with being apart of two fifth-place relays.

Schmid and the Raiders will be back in the pool on Saturday, October 25^th, at a double-dual against Carthage College and Lake Forest College.
