MILWAUKEE – The MSOE women's soccer team closed out the regular season on Wednesday night, shutting out the Green Knights of St. Norbert as they locked up their playoff position with a 1-0 win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (12-5-2, 10-1-1 NACC) and SNC (3-14-2, 3-7-2 NAAC) went up-and-down the pitch to open the contest, with neither team able to establish much momentum as the Green Knights playoff chances were on the line against the Red and White. The Raiders would finally get the offense rolling, racking up shots before Rachael Klamecki and Alexis Lugonzo found Elizabeth Kuhn, playing tic-tac-toe as the Raiders went up 1-0 on St. Norbert.
- The Raiders saw continued chances on the attack, but the Norbert goalkeeper made stop after stop and save after save, holding the MSOE lead at 1-0. The Raider backline defense, led by Reagan Burkemper and Samantha Shaver shut down the Green Knight attack, as the Red and White held SNC without a single shot in the second half. With the 1-0 win, the Raiders secured the No. 2 seed in the NACC Tournament with their tenth conference victory of the season.
