LISLE, Ill. – The MSOE women's soccer team shutout the Benedictine University Eagles on Saturday afternoon, in a bounce-back road win for the Raiders, who remain unbeaten in conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (6-4-2, 4-0-1 NACC) controlled the ball for most of the first half, allowing just one shot from the Eagles (1-10-0, 1-4-0 NACC) across the first 45 minutes of play. The Raiders registered seven shots before finally connecting on the eighth as Hadleigh Ostrenga scored unassisted to give the Red and White a 1-0 lead with fifteen minutes remaining in the half.
- Coming out of halftime, MSOE got right back to work on the offensive end, continuing to outpace the Eagles. After exchanging shots on consecutive possessions, Elizabeth Kuhn would find Rosario Etcheverria Abuin to extend the Raiders lead to 2-0 just over ten minutes into the second half. The Raiders continued to dominate Benedictine, outshooting the Eagles ten by a margin of 20-2 as time began to tick down in Lisle. Freshmen Alexis Lugonzo would add her first career goal in the waning moments of the half to cap off a bounce-back shut-out victory for the Red and White.
