MILWAUKEE – The offensive for the MSOE men's hockey did not let up as they upset #11 Trine University at home to complete the weekend as
Seth Bernard nets twice.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The fireworks came quickly as just 5:44 into the game MSOE (5-2-1, 4-1-1 NCHA) struck with Jackson Hughes finding the puck in the middle for a quick 1-0 lead. Just three minutes later, the Raiders added on with Sam Lyons getting his own rebound before an easy strike as it was all of the sudden 2-0, forcing a Trine (5-2-1, 4-1-1 NCHA) goaltender change. The Thunder answered both of those in the remaining 11 minutes to make the score tied at two at the first break.
- 2:28 into the second period beginning, the Thunder were able to take their lone lead of the game. The lead didn't last long as Bernard took a two-on-one opportunity with Ethan Mann for a quick one-timer to tie the game at three. Ethan Thombs helped the Raiders retake the lead after a blocked shot from Casey Roepke was able to be fired near the point to make it 4-3. Gramm McCormackw as able to cap off the period grabbing a rebound from Cole Beilke to make it 5-3 at the second intermission.
- Both sides slowed down their progression on the offensive end as the Thunder led the shot battle nine to six. Austin Schwab continued to be stout in between the pipes to shutout the Thunder for the period. After the Thunder pulled their goalie hoping to being aided by the advantage, Bernard seal the win with empty netter with 2:45 remaining.

WHO'S ON DECK
The Raiders will have a midweek nonconference contest on Tuesday, November 25
