DE PERE, Wis. – The MSOE women's volleyball fell in straight sets Thursday evening on the road at St. Norbert. The Green Knights attacked the Raiders early killing nearly everything in the first set and held off a late rally the Raiders made in the third.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- St. Norbert (21-8, 10-2 NACC) was clicking offensively to opening set, clipping at an .379 hitting percentage and totaling an 11-1 run to take a 16-4 lead. Alyssa Rusch knocked in a pair of kills to cut the deficit to eight until the Green Knights to closed things out to win 25-13.
- Gillian McDaniel snagged the hot hand to begin the second with three kills to give MSOE (7-19, 5-8 NACC) an early advantage but was answered almost instantly as the Green Knights tied and the two went back-and-forth. After Natalie Martinez buried an ace, the Green Knights rallied on an 8-1 run, eventually getting the final point to win 25-19.
- Taking a 7-2 lead to begin the third, the Raiders held the Green Knights in check until they made the lead double-digits at 21-11. Not giving up their fight, the Raiders made a late rally as Rusch joined up with Abby Balkema and Maddie Abel to make three blocks and cut the deficit to one at 23-22. Unfortunately, the rally ended there as the Green Knights knocked in the final two to win the set 25-22.
