HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (1-1, 0-0 NACC) took a two-point lead over Rose-Hulman (0-2) on a jump shot from Mahima Chokshi to open the game and the Raiders never looked back, as the Red and White's balanced attack saw five different players score a basket in the first quarter, with MSOE ending the first frame up 14-10. The Raiders would maintain their two-possession lead through the second quarter, before going on a run to close the frame, with back-to-back three pointers from Lana Kerley and Elly Kohl pushing the MSOE lead to twelve points, with the Raiders leading 32-20 at the break.
- Coming out of halftime, the Raiders lead would reach as much as 22 points, as Halena Hill came out of the break with the hot hand, recording eight points in the first four minutes of the third quarter. The Fighting Engineers would try their best to chip away at the Raider lead, but MSOE held on to win 56-46, securing their first win of the season and closing out their run at the STEM Classic.
