DE PERE, Wis. – The MSOE men's basketball fell victim to their first conference loss Saturday afternoon as St. Norbert College grabbed momentum early in the first half that the Raiders couldn't overcome on the road.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (4-4, 2-1 NACC) had their only substantial lead after the opening tip when Mason Dopirak buried a three on their opening possession. After trading baskets after that, St. Norbert (5-2, 3-0 NACC) hit one of their six first-half threes to lead 11-9 with 15:12 to play for the final lead change of the game. The Raiders didn't let the Green Knights out of their sights for a majority of the first half as they found much of their success coming in the paint. The Green Knights however closed the first half on a 5-0 run the remaining 1:35 to have a double-digit lead at the break, 38-28.
- Dopirak locked in to open the second half, knocking in a free throw and layup to cut the deficit down to seven until the Green Knights immediately brought it back to double digits at 47-36 with 13:26 to play. Baskets by Matus Dopirak and Isaac Wit took it down to six continued to just be the beginning as Mason cut it to four with 7:14 to play, 55-51. The Green Knights then nailed a three and began to start attacking the paint to halt the Raiders late to momentum to hold on.
