ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – The MSOE men's wrestling team improved their dual record to 3-0 on Tuesday evening, taking down the Augustana Vikings and the Illinois Wesleyan Titans in their first tri-match of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- vs. Augustana College
- The Raiders and Vikings saw the first three bouts of the evening all go the distance to a decisions, with MSOE taking two of three with Lane Andersen scoring a 9-5 win at 125 and Liam Anderson recording a 7-1 win at 141.
- Alex Morales would give MSOE a 10-3 lead after his 13-2 major decision victory at 149, followed up by back-to-back wins from the Vikings at 157 and 165 to bring the MSOE lead to just one point at 10-9. Toren Vandenbush scored a 12-1 major decision at 174 with fellow sophomore Jackson Hughes picking up a pinfall win at 184 to propel the Red and White to a 20-9 lead with two bouts left.
- Jake Schmitt would close the day out for the Raiders with a 5-2 decision win at 285, capping off MSOE's 2-0 day with a 23-12 win over the Vikings.
