ADRIAN, Mich. – The MSOE men's hockey team had their season came to a close Saturday evening at the hands of Adrian College. Ethan Mann struck twice in game two to give the Raiders the victory but fell in the mini game to the Bulldogs.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Just like last night, MSOE (13-10-4, 7-8-3 NCHA) struck first when late in the first, they found themselves with a power play opportunity when Rylan Jockims fed middle to Mann who sent the puck to the bottom right to open the scoring. Just minutes later, Adrian (17-9-1, 10-7-1 NCHA) knotted the game up with a score of their own to make the game tied at one at the first break,
• Midway through the second, the Raiders struck again after the puck made its way away from the board right back to Mann to send it past the lost Bulldogs goalie to give them a 2-1 game. Austin Schwab put together a masterclass the rest of the game, making a total of 45 stops between the pipe to give them the victory and head to the mini game. In the mini game, neither team could score in the first 20 minutes, sending the game to a sudden death overtime. Just over two minutes into the extra period, the Bulldogs found a slight crease to score, ending the game.

WHO'S ON DECK
The Raiders close out their season with an overall record of 13-10-4, going 7-8-3 in conference play. The season was highlighted by winning the inaugural Tampa College Hockey Invitational, along with a road victory at #6 St. Norbert College back on January 25^th.
