RIPON, Wis. – The MSOE men's track & field team traveled up to Ripon for the Red Hawk Invite Saturday that saw school records shattered by
AJ Springer and
Adam Shaw as the Raiders finished second overall.

RECAP
- Springer ran away from the field to win the 800-meter run in a new school record time of 1:53.17, which is currently ranked 10th in Division III. Shaw led a clean sweep of Raiders in the 3,000-meter run that finished under the previous school record, running 8:30.58. Nolan Pinion finished in second in 8:38.54, while Sam McPeak finished in third in 8:41.35.
- Evan Ploeckelman finished second in the 60-meter dash, tying a season-best 6.97 seconds. Jared Batz led a 1-2 finish in the 5,000-meter run to win in 16:08.82 seconds, while Joshua Krueger finish in second in 16:14.31.
- In the field events, Thomas Kiefer finished in third in the pole vault, vaulting 4.35 meters. Ethan Wrasman had the highest finish for the throwing events, taking fourth in the shot put with a toss of 14.32 meters.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Raiders will travel across the lake over to Michigan for the GVSU Big Meet, beginning on Friday, February 14
th and bleeding into Saturday.
