RIPON, Wis. – The MSOE women's track & field team traveled up to Ripon for the Red Hawk Invite Saturday as the Raiders finished third overall behind a second-place finish from
Jessa Alderman.

RECAP
- Alderman had the highest finish of the day on the women's side, finishing second in the shot put with a toss of 13.12 meters, which currently sits 23rd nationally. Katrina Wawrzyn finished in the third in the event with a mark of 12.09 meters. Alderman also added a third place finish the weight throw, having a mark of 15.65 meters.
- In the running events, Gillian McDaniel finished third overall in the 60-meter dash after running 8.13 seconds in the prelim, a new season best time. She also added two fourth-place finishes, first in the 200-meter dash in 27.47, as well as the long jump with a leap of 5.13 meters. In the distance events, Ella Kwaterski finished third in the 5,000-meter run with a massive personal-best 19:30.80, while Sabryn Bley finished fourth in the 3,000-meter run in 11:41.93.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Raiders will travel across the lake over to Michigan for the GVSU Big Meet, beginning on Friday, February 14
th and bleeding into Saturday.
