MILWAUKEE – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) has announced the all-conference teams for the 2024-25 men's basketball season, with
Mason Dopirak and
Donovan Carter each earning first-team honors representing MSOE.
Dopirak, a junior from Manitowoc, earns his third-straight first team honors of his career. The junior led the NACC and ranked 21
st nationally averaging 22.2 points per game, shooting 48.2% from the floor and 42.4% from three. Averaging 4.3 assists per game and 5.9 rebounds per game, Dopirak recorded double-digit point totals in all 26 games he played in, while recording two double-double performances and three 30-point games. He was named NACC player of the week for the week of Feb. 10-16 when he averaged 28 points and 7.5 rebounds with a double-double performance in wins over #7 Wisconsin Lutheran and Dominican.
Carter, a graduate student from Island Lake, Illinois, ranked seventh in the conference scoring 17.7 points per game, shooting 54.8% which ranked fourth and 89.3% from the free-throw line, which led the conference and ranks 16
th nationally. Carter recorded double-digit point totals in 24 games, including having perfect day from the field in the NACC Quarterfinal against Marian on February 26
th, shooting nine-for-nine and three-for-three from three in his final game inside the Kern Center. This is Carter's first career first-team honor after being named second-team a season ago.
The Raiders finished the season with a record of 18-9, which is the most wins since 2018-19, finishing 13-5 in conference play. Earning the No. 3 seed in the NACC tournament, the Raiders defeated the Sabres 91-74 at home before falling in a nail-biter 76-73 to No. 2 St. Norbert, the eventually conference champion.
