Harris & Raider Offense Efficient in Sweep at Warriors

MILWAUKEE – The MSOE men's volleyball team had one of their most efficient nights offensively, hitting. 448 while Callan Harris hit .727 on the night with 17 kills as they swept Wisconsin Lutheran College with ease.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Wisconsin Lutheran (6-10, 3-2 NACC) didn't shy away early until a 5-0 run that started with a kill from Matthew Schultz and ended with an ace from him gave MSOE (5-8, 4-0 NACC) a 19-11 lead. After getting to set point, the Warriors rattled off four straight before Harris finally ended it with a kill for a 25-20 set one win.
  • Things began similarly in the second set as the Warriors kept their deficit manageable through the 10-point mark. Harris put together a massive run, making three-straight kills while combining with Tommy Clausz for a block as the lead grew to 18-10. The Raiders closed on a 4-0 run with Parker Rings ending it with a dump to take it 25-14.
  • The Warriors couldn't find the ball to land in play which let the Raiders opened the third set with a quick 6-0 lead. Things continued to go south for the as block from Schultz and Rings made the score 15-4 midway through. After a block from Clausz and Harris made the score 23-10, the Warriors began to find a rhythm but Schultz ended the match with a kill to win the third set 25-14.
