Concordia Wisconsin - 11

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Game One
    • Bosque got things rolling in the first inning, connecting on a double to center field to score Joe Stried for the first run of the game for MSOE (19-14, 13-5 NACC). Bosque continued with RBIs in the third to score Kalitowski and the fifth to score Stried to extend it to 3-0.
    • Concordia Wisconsin (16-17, 9-9 NACC) got on the scoreboard in the bottom half of the fifth on a triple to make it 3-1. AJ Hamilton on the mound for the Red & White held them scoreless the rest of the way, with Stried clearing the bases with a triple in the top of the ninth before coming home by-way of Bosque to seal it 7-1.
  • Game Two
    • The Falcons drew first blood in game two, hitting a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the first for the first run of the game. The Raiders loaded up the bases in the top of the third for AJ Le to step in, taking one to the body on a hit-by-pitch to score Jack Kalitowski. Jordan Skolmar and Kyle Mayberry drove in three runs right after to extend the lead 4-1.
    • The Falcons answered the pressure in the bottom of the fourth, putting up a four-spot to take a 5-4 lead. Le once again tied up the game in the next half inning, singling through the left side to score Stried before Skolmar hit a sacrifice fly to bring in Bosque to take a 6-5 lead. The Falcons answered and didn't look back after that, scoring five in the bottom half and adding another in the eighth to draw the split.
