CHICAGO, Ill. - The MSOE women's tennis team returned to the courts to kick-off their 2025-25 season against the North Park University. Despite battling in every single set, the Raiders were unable to wrestle a win away from the Vikings and fell 2-5.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Across three tightly contested doubles matches the Raiders were unable to secure a point as they dropped two of three, but the team of Stephania Gonzalez and Delaney Premeau persevered for a 6-4 victory.
- In singles play, freshman Ana Clara Kamiyama impressed from the #1 spot, winning her match in straight sets by scores of 6-4 and 6-2.
- Amelia Segelstrom would deliver the other singles win for the Raiders over the Vikings, as the sophomore won her first set 6-3, before fighting tooth and nail to win the second set by a score of 7-6.
WHO'S ON DECK
The Raiders are back in action tomorrow as they head to Wheaton, Illinois for a showdown with the Thunder as the Red and White look to bounce back. Matches are set to begin at 11:00 A.M.
