HOW IT HAPPENED
- Dopirak didn't waste any time fill the stat sheet, scoring the first twelve points for MSOE (8-6, 6-1 NACC) before Chase Cumming hit a three to lead 15-8 nearly seven minutes in. Concordia Chicago (5-9, 4-3 NACC) was able to answer many of the Raiders' baskets throughout the first half as they brought it within a four-point game with four minutes until half. Jonathan Burroughs would bury a three followed by a jumper and pair of free throws from Dopirak brought the lead to double-digits as they eventually went into the break leading 45-35.
- The Raiders continued to come out of the gates firing, opening on a 10-0 run to lead 55-34 just 1:43 into the second half beginning. The Cougars used the long ball to cut into the deficit, making it 56-42 but was brought back up to 20 after Ethan Johnson hit one from midrange and Carson Cordelli hit a three and a layup. As the score hovered around a 23 point lead, the Raiders put the game on ice with four minutes to go when Johnson hit two free throws, with the bench unloading with Kolby Henderlong hitting a three and Brock Adams cashing in a pair of free throws.
