MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The MSOE women's basketball team remained red-hot in 2026, as they scored their fifth conference win of the season, remaining unbeaten in NACC play with their victory over the Cougars of Concordia Chicago.
FINAL SCORE
Concordia University Chicago – 66
MSOE RAIDERS - 83
HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (10-2, 5-0 NACC) took the lead over CUC (5-9, 3-3 NACC) on a three pointer from Lana Kerley and never looked back, amassing a double-digit lead with 2:15 left in the first frame on a fastbreak jumper from Halena Hill. After a short run from the Cougars closed the first quarter, MSOE put their foot back on the gas, courtesy of a scoring frenzy from Mahima Chokshi and Aubrey Metzger, who combined for half of the Raiders' second-quarter points. The Red and White would hold a 42-25 lead at the break, as MSOE shot 81% in the second quarter, including a perfect six-for-six from three-point range with three coming from Kerley.
- Following the halftime break, the Raiders would continue to score at will, with Kerley and Hill each eclipsing the 20-point mark as the Red and White led by as much as nineteen points midway through the third quarter. From there it was all MSOE, as the Raiders recorded their tenth win of the season, and third in a row, as they remain undefeated against conference foes. The Raiders are one of three teams (St. Norbert, Wisconsin Lutheran) in the NACC that remain unbeaten in conference play.
