Women's Wrestling Takes Sixth at Muskie Scramble

PLYMOUTH, Wis. – The MSOE women's wrestling team competed at the Muskie Scramble hosted by Lakeland University on Sunday afternoon, as the Raiders took on eight other teams on the way to a sixth-place finish.

MSOE RAIDERS – 6th Place (15 team points)

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Jackie Zuniga Rangel led the way for the Raiders in Plymouth, as she took second place at 110, after picking up a 10-6 decision win against her opponent from UW-Stevens Point.
  • Naomi Castillo-Posadas matched the Raiders team-finish with a sixth-place finish at 138, picking up a win against her opponent from Lakeland in a 6-2 decision victory.

WHO'S ON DECK
The Raiders will be back in action on Tuesday, January 19th, when the take on the Spartans in their trip to Aurora University.  The action is set to begin at 7:00 P.M.
