HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Raiders (7-3-4, 5-0-2 NACC) and Warriors (9-2-0, 4-2-0 NACC) played a scoreless first half, with both teams combining for just seven shots across the first 45 minutes of play. Both Claire Bradford and Faith Papazoglou put shots on goal in the opening 25 minutes, with both players being stopped by the WLC keeper. Coming down the stretch of the first half, Kiley Schmitt nearly put the Raiders on the board after a corner kick attempt with less than four minutes left in the half, but her shot would sail wide right as the teams remained deadlocked at the break.
- In the second half, it was the combination of Hadleigh Ostrenga to Shealan Biniam for the first goal of the evening, putting MSOE ahead 1-0 at the 61:53 mark of the contest. The Raiders would maintain their offensive momentum, racking up seven shots before finding the back of the goal once more, this time off the foot of Kiley Schmitt as the Raiders would go on to secure the shutout win, holding the Warriors to just four second-half shots in the victory. The Raiders record their fifth conference win, remaining unbeaten in conference play in 2026.
