HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (16-6, 11-4 NACC) raced out to a seven-point lead over the Green Knights (15-7, 13-2 NACC) by the midway point of the first period. The Raiders would catch fire from beyond the arc in the first half, shooting 71% from three-point range across the first 20 minutes of play as Mahima Chokshi, Lana Kerley and Halena Hill all connected from deep. The MSOE lead would reach as much as fourteen points in the first half on a layup from Dani Mendez. The Green Knights would close the first half on a short run to cut the MSOE lead to 39-32 at the break.
- Coming out of halftime, SNC chipped away at the Red and White's lead, knotting the game up with 2:21 left in the third period at 47-47. Maggie Lewandowski would convert in the lane to give MSOE a one-possession lead heading to the final frame. Despite good offensive efficiency from the Raiders in the fourth quarter, the Green Knights would not miss a shot from the field, beyond the arc, or the charity stripe. SNC would regain the lead on a layup with 2:21 left in the game, as St. Norbert held the Raiders in check the rest of the way with the Red and White falling in their final roadtrip.
