Dominican - 4

MSOE RAIDERS – 14
Dominican - 3

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Game One
    • MSOE (11-5, 2-0 NACC) found their bats clicking early as Christian Bosque and Jordan Skolmar each ripped RBI singles to right in the top of the first for a 3-0 lead. They doubled that run total in the second with Bosque kicking things off with a RBI double to left to bring around Robby Erickson and AJ Le with Teo Greco having an RBI single as their lead exploded to 9-0.
    • Zach Brzezinski got the start on the bump for the Raiders and held Dominican (6-7, 0-2 NACC) scoreless through six innings as he fanned nine batters. The Stars didn't see runs come across until the seventh when they drove in four to cut it to a five-run difference. Jackson Naber and Jayden Delaney came in relief and gave up zero hits and zero base runners to seal game one.
  • Game Two
    • After a scoreless first inning, Ben Sullivan launched the opening run of the game with his first homerun of his career for the early 1-0 lead. Le drove in Bosque in the top of the third to keep the scoring going as Camden Hoier kept the power going with a solo shot to lead 3-0 midway through the third.
    • The Stars cut into their deficit with an RBI groundout in the bottom half to make it 3-1. Franks continued to utilize the long ball with a two-run blast in the fourth as an error from the Stars later in the inning made it 6-1. Another run from the Stars came across in the bottom half to make it a five-run game. The Raiders began to run away as five runs scored over the next two innings, including a three-run blast from Bosque make it a double-digit lead, 13-2. Despite another run from the Stars in the bottom half of the sixth, Sullivan countered with a sacrifice fly to put the game away early.
