LA CROSSE, Wis. –
Jessa Alderman leads the women's track & field team as they competed at the Phil Esten Challenge, hosted by University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
RECAP
- Alderman finished second in the shot put, also finishing as the top Division III athlete with a toss of 14.04 meters. Over in the discus, Josephine Jacklin took seventh in the discus with 42.34 meters.
- Over on the track, Sophie Wong finished tenth in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 19:54.73. Gillian McDaniel ran a season best time 12.86 in the 100-meter dash to finish 42nd in the prelims. June Kirkpatrick dropped a massive season best in the 800-meter run, clocking 2:29.56.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Raiders will now prepare for the NACC Championship, beginning on May 1st at Wisconsin Lutheran College, with a bulk of the finals coming on the final day.
