MILWAUKEE – The 2026 Academic All-District® Softball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, were announced on Tuesday, as
Marissa Collazo,
Brynn Kerber and
Jayda Nelson were recognized as top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom.
Collazo pitched in fifteen games for the Red and White, making seven starts while posting a 2-4 record across 49.1 innings. Collazo racked up 15 strikeouts while walking just nine batters across the 2026 campaign, pitching to a 4.11 ERA in her sophomore season.
Kerber appeared in 27 games for the Raiders this season as the primary center fielder for the Red and White, hitting .125 for the Red and White as she tallied nine runs scored while going a perfect three-for-three on stolen base attempts.
Nelson was a force for the Raiders all spring, starting 37 games at first base for MSOE this season, while posting a .314 batting average. The junior finished in the top five in every major hitting category for the Red and White, leading the team in at-bats while finishing second in RBI (23) and doubles (11).
The Raiders wrapped for 2026 with a 12-26 record, going 9-15 in conference play and finishing 9
th in the conference standings. The Red and White will resume play in the spring of 2027.
