HOW IT HAPPENED
Beloit (2-5, 0-2 Midwest) started off this evenings contest on a 15-5 run which was something that MSOE (4-5, 1-3 NACC) has been seeing far to often lately. There was an immediate reaction to the early deficit however, as the Raiders chipped away and kept with the Buccaneers. The Red & White wouldn't get back into the driver's seat until 6:47 remaining in the first half, but once they took control they stayed there. With only a five-point lead at the half, the Raiders outscored Beloit 53-39 in the second frame, in large part to them sinking their shots at a 66.7 percent clip. The Raiders also drained eight of their 12 three-point attempts in the second half while keeping Beloit at bay both from the field and behind the arc. Four of the five Red & White starters finished in double-digits as the Raiders put one in the win column for the first time since Nov. 23rd.
