Box Score MILWAUKEE - Facing off against an Aurora team that has scored 83.2 points per game this season, MSOE women's basketball knew they had a tough test ahead of them. A solid game plan and time management helped the Raiders stay in the ballgame however, but in the end offensive rebounds came back to haunt them in a six-point loss.

HOW IT HAPPENED
MSOE (4-4, 4-1 NACC) played one of their most competitive games this year, battling Aurora (5-1, 3-1 NACC) every step of the way in this afternoon's defeat. No one held the advantage after a 13-13 first quarter, but the Spartans would pull ahead in the second. AU charged out to a 13-point lead and outscored the Red & White 21-10 in the last 10 minutes before halftime. Down but not out, MSOE stormed back and had a dominate quarter to themselves. The Raiders turned the tables with a 23-14 third frame, putting themselves in position to come away with the win. Only four points separated the two teams in the fourth, with Aurora holding the 17-14 advantage. MSOE managed to tie the game back up at 50 before the Spartans outscored them 15-9 the rest of the way to leave Hotchkin Arena with the six-point victory.
