RESULTS
MSOE – 49
Edgewood – 64
HOW IT HAPPENED
MSOE (4-9, 4-4 NACC) played well throughout most of the game, it was just the dreaded bad quarter that rose up and bit them once more. The Raiders shot 38 percent from the field for the game and 44.4 percent from behind the arc, but it was their seven-point second quarter that put an end to their hopes of knocking off the second best team in the NACC. Edgewood (11-1, 6-1 NACC) scored 18 points in the same frame where the Red & White posted a single digit total, giving them enough separating distance to control the rest of the contest. MSOE was only outscored by eight in the first and third periods combined and outscored the home team by four in the last quarter of the afternoon. The Eagles used their transition play as well to outscore the Raiders 17-0 in fast break points and dominated the boards 43-25 on their way to handing the Raiders their sixth straight loss.
