Box Score MILWAUKEE – MSOE men's basketball hosted Edgewood at Hotchkin Arena tonight in what will be their last home game for quite some time. Well, the Raiders gave the fans something to remember them by as they took home yet another win on Saturday evening against the Eagles.
RESULTS
Edgewood – 59
MSOE – 71
HOW IT HAPPENED
MSOE (10-7, 7-5 NACC) had sole possession of the lead for all but 45 seconds tonight, using an up-tempo offensive style to attack Edgewood (5-12, 4-8 NACC) right out of the gate. After winning by just one point earlier in the year, the Raiders shot 50.9 percent from the field and limited the Eagles efforts in both second chance points and points off turnovers. The Red & White cemented their position as the game leader when they went on a 10-0 run in the middle of the first to make it 12-2. Their lead grew from there, getting as high as 23 points in the middle of the second half before it evened back out just a tad. EC did make a comeback attempt, going on a 7-0 run of their own late in the contest, but they would get no closer than the 12-points that they fell by. The Raiders have now won five straight ballgames dating back to Jan. 11th and will embarked on their upcoming road trip with the goal of continuing their upward movement in the NACC regular season standings.
