HOW IT HAPPENED
MSOE (6-12, 6-7 NACC) shot well once again in tonight's contest, making their shots from the field 42 percent of the time. The Raiders scored in double digits in all but one of the quarters and controlled the game from the opening tipoff. Mikayla Dogs followed up her 23-point performance from Tuesday night with a new career high of 24, which started with her successful three pointer attempt to open up the scoring tonight. The Raiders defensive effort was out in full force as well, limiting Rockford (3-16, 1-13 NACC) to seven points in the first quarter and only five in the third. The Regents shot just 26.8 percent in the game and coughed up the ball 30 times. Ten of those turnovers were steals by Amy Reiser, who set a single game record in that category thanks to the impressive effort. The Red & White outscored RU 20-6 in points in the paint as they run their record to 6-7 in NACC play.
