Box Score MILWAUKEE – MSOE men's basketball hit the court for their regular season opener as they welcomed North Central (Minn.) to begin the NACC-UMAC Challenge. The Raiders came out strong and had an explosive second half to take home win number one in front of a lively crowd on Friday night inside Hotchkin Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (1-0, 0-0 NACC) shot 39.4 percent from the field in the first half, but it was North Central (0-1, 0-0 UMAC) that grabbed an early eight-point lead.
- The Raiders made sure that wasn't going to last as they went on a 28-12 run to close out the period and head into the locker rooms with a 34-26 advantage.
- A Red & White 7-0 run increased the Raiders lead as they never trailed in the second frame and grew their advantage to 18 points and shot 52.9 percent in the final 20 minutes.
- Ty Miklowski had 18 point and eight boards and Michael Pitrof had 17 and five respectively in the MSOE 76-58 season opening victory.
RAIDER REMARKS
- The Raiders are a perfect 3-0 against the Rams in a series that started back in 2011.
- The Red & White Bench Mob helped out the cause by outscoring their counterparts 26-7.
