Box Score MILWAUKEE – MSOE men's basketball was looking to close out the year on a high note when they welcomed Viterbo to Hotchkin Arena. It was a close contest throughout but a late V-Hawks run turned the tide in the ballgame and sent the Raiders into the new year with a three-point loss.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (5-6, 1-3 NACC) and Viterbo (6-8, 0-1 NSAA) engaged in a defensive first half to begin the last contest of 2021. The Raiders held the V-Hawks to just 32.4 percent shooting from the field but still trailed by three heading into halftime.
- The offensive production for both teams increased in the second half, but it was the Red & White that had the upper hand, jumping out to a nine-point lead with ten minutes left to play.
- A Viterbo 10-0 run late in the period stopped the Raiders momentum however and allowed the V-Hawks to reclaim the lead for good with just 30 seconds remaining in the Red & White's three-point loss.
RAIDER REMARKS
- This was the first ever meeting between the V-Hawks and the Raiders.
- Michael Pitrof is now in a three-way tie for 11th place all-time with 1,050 career points.
