Box Score 1 |
Box Score 2 WAUWATOSA, Wis. – You are not going to win them all. The Raiders found this out the hard way and dropped their first conference game of the year to Wisconsin Lutheran on the road. However, MSOE answered right back to split the doubleheader and started on the path to another extended winning streak.

Game Two (6-Innings)
MSOE RAIDERS – 16

HOW IT HAPPENED
The first game of the day just did not go MSOE's (19-2, 6-1 NACC North) way. Wisconsin Lutheran was able to jump out to a 4-0 lead and the Warriors pitching kept the Raiders bats quiet. Until the fifth inning that is. The Red & White put up a six spot on the scoreboard to take a two-run lead with two innings left to play. Unfortunately, WLC was able to tie it in the bottom of the sixth and finally broke that tie in the 10th to take game one 7-6.
MSOE responded the way we have come to expect them to in the second game of the afternoon, but WLC did not make it easy at first. After the Raiders scored two in their first at bats, the Warriors added five of their own to give them a three-run lead after a single inning. Emily Wiederholt made sure that they would be limited the rest of the game, however. The senior held Wisconsin Lutheran to just one run after that. Meanwhile, the Raiders offense added seven runs in the third to take the lead back and enacted the eight-run rule by scoring two in the fifth and five in the sixth. Kara McKenna and Delaney Martino each had three RBI's and Grace Salaja, Celine Pacheco, and Jocelyn Clodi added two a piece as the Raiders rebound with a 16-6 win.
MSOE STAT TRACKER – TWO GAME TOTALS
Hits – Grace Salaja (5)

Stolen Bases – Jocelyn Clodi (2)
Strikeouts – Lorrin Pondo (6)
