Box Score LAKE FOREST, Ill. – MSOE women's basketball hit the court for the second time this season when they took on Lake Forest on the road. The Raiders got off to a decent start and entered the final frame with the lead but weren't able to hang on in a ten point loss to the Foresters on Tuesday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (0-2) shot only 16.7 percent in the first quarter but were helped out by three successful attempts from behind the arc that allowed the Raiders to keep things within a single point heading into the second frame against Lake Forest (1-1).
- The second and third stanzas were a different story. The Red & White tallied 36 combined points behind nearly 50 percent shooting while their defensive effort on the other end of the court allowed the Raiders to take a five point lead into the final ten minutes of action.
- Unfortunately, that served as the same quarter that the Foresters put together their best offensive attack of the night. Two LFC players scored in double figures in the frame as they went 9-14 from the field to turn the MSOE five point lead into a Raiders 10 point deficit as the final horn sounded in a 70-60 loss.
RAIDER REMARKS
- The loss snapped the Raiders two game win streak against Lake Forest. They are now 5-5 in their last ten games against LFC.
- There was a lot of back and forth action in the contest with 11 ties and 12 different lead changes.
