Box Score ROCKFORD, Ill. – Having been on the wrong side of quite a few close games lately, MSOE women's basketball looked to turn the tide when they took on Rockford on the road. The Raiders finally did break through behind a career best performance and smothering defense against the Regents on Saturday afternoon in Illinois.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (4-13, 3-7 NACC) jumped out to a massive lead in this afternoon's ballgame behind a 12-3 first quarter against Rockford (2-15, 1-9 NACC). The Raiders then increase their lead with a 14-point performance in the second where they shot 5-12 from the field and forced five Regent turnovers.
- The home team tried to put up a fight, however. Rockford outscored the Red & White 10-6 in the first ten minutes after the intermission but never got any closer than seven points off the lead.
- MSOE closed out the contest by hitting four of their five shots from three point land, three of which came from Skylar Flanagan in a nine point frame. They grew their lead to as large as 18 points before settling for a 48-32 victory, tying their season mark for points allowed in a contest.
RAIDER REMARKS
- After back to back losses to the Regents last year, the Raiders got back on track and are now 8-2 in their last ten games against their Illinois foe.
- Junior Skylar Flanagan blew by her previous single game career best and scored a new record of 21 points. She also led the team in blocks with two.
- Freshman Mahima Chokshi now leads the Raiders in steals per game (1.8) thanks to four takeaways against RU.

WHO'S ON DECK
