Box Score MADISON, Wis. – Coming off a thrilling overtime victory on Tuesday night at home, MSOE men's basketball couldn't slow down a second half run from the Edgewood Eagles in a seven point loss on the road.
FINAL SCORE
MSOE RAIDERS – 68
Edgewood - 75
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Matus Dopirak got the spark started for MSOE (9-10, 5-7 NACC) knocking down two three pointers with Mason Dopirak hitting a jump shot to put the Raiders up 8-2 just a few minutes in. Edgewood (4-15, 4-7 NACC) quickly answered with a run of their own with 13:10 left in the first half as a back-and-forth battle began, one that saw the Eagles holding a 33-32 lead going into the break.
- The Eagles extended their first half to as high as 13 with 9:06 left to play. Steve Dillard would hit two quick shots, followed by a layup from Chase Cummings while being fouled to cut the deficit to five with 7:44 remaining. Made free throws from Dillard with 5:43 left helped get the Raiders to within four, but that's the closest the Raiders could get, eventually falling to the Eagles 76-68 in Madison.

- Steve Dillard posted a double-digit point total for the first time since January 7th, when he scored 12 point also against Edgewood.
