Thillman Leads Raiders in Regular Season Finale

WAUWATOSA, Wis. – The MSOE women's soccer team capped off the regular season with a shutout victory at Wisconsin Lutheran College.

RESULT
MSOE RAIDERS – 2

Wisconsin Lutheran – 0

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • MSOE (16-1-3, 12-1-0 NACC) kept their standard high flying attack offense as they completely outshot Wisconsin Lutheran (7-9-1, 4-9-0 NACC) 18-1. Unfortunately, the Raiders couldn't get any to fall as only four landed on goal as the two sides went into half scoreless.
  • The Raiders didn't let up on shooting, having 14 shots in the second half. Maggie Thillman broke the silence on the scoreboard in the 61st minute on a pass from Olivia Carroll and then added on in the 77th minute from Grace Quinn. The Red & White defense stayed locked in only allowing one shot in the second half as well for the Warriors, as they easily kept them scoreless heading into fulltime.
